This Tree House is a Bargain

Still working out how we might publish a quick little video with each song I post this year. Thought scanning a few thumbnails would do the trick. Still have some things to work-out but I'm going crazy not posting regularly. Decided to just start putting things up again even if they're not completely done and release the finished stuff in future packages. We'll call this the storyboard for an upcoming video.
My favorite part is the end... wait for it...
The new album is coming along well. I'm doing a special limited run, hand-made cd/book for those that want more than just the download version. It doesn't look like we'll make the projected February release date though. We're making some studio repairs/upgrades tonight and things are sounding beautiful! I'll keep you posted.

Cooper Animates Hippo! (and more)

Well, here it is... Coopers' amazing animation of Hippo!
Plus, you get to see a few more of his toons. Isn't he awesome!

Flipnote Hatena
Sing Along to This Christmas Song.mp3 This little animated masterpiece was created by my son Cooper for this brand new "Song Of the Week"! Press the green arrow to watch - and please be patient, it takes some time to load. He used a program called Scratch that he uses to make video games. I'm so proud of him. You would not believe how quickly he put this together.
As for my contribution to this project, I decided to get back to the Christmas Album thing I promised a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to participate in the Song Fight too. So here it is, very loosely based on this week's title "City In Fog."

Super Friend Vacation

A buddy song - our first music video - and, as you'll see, we had to give up on the editing process about half-way into it and just let these two knuckleheads do their thing. Cooper's performance is a tour de force that rivals both Tobey Maguire and Robert Downey Jr's humble attempts at the super hero genre. He attacks the role with pure joy and reckless abandon.
...(still can't figure out what that head-shaped thing is that keeps popping up behind them though)...
If you just want to listen to the song here's the mp3...Super Friend Vacation.mp3
But if you want the total experience...
Here's the video...
