Todd McHatton is a singer songwriter and visual artist best known for his ongoing series of psychedelic indie pop albums for families. His music has been compared to The Beatles, The Flaming Lips, Harry Nilsson, and The Shins. His projects include recording and performing with his family and some monsters as Marvy Monstone’s Mysterious Fun Time Dream Band which has been called “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band for Kids.” He also records and performs in the indie rock duo Underbirds with Gustafer Yellowgold creator Morgan Taylor and has partnered with musician CeeJay Pizarro (Mista Cookie Jar) to form the Cheech & Chong for kids inspired band Todd & Cookie. Todd resides in Southern California where he does all of the writing, recording, production, instrumentation, and artwork in his solar powered studio.
