A brand new “Song Of the Week”!

I’ve been wanting to do a “fort” song for awhile. When we were kids our cousin Chris Caputo built this enormous tunnel fort in his basement with boxes and duct tape. It was amazing.

Some credit also has to go to my Brazilian room-mate from my time at music school, Carlos Nascimento. There’s a little snippet of music from him in this that I’ve been carrying around for years. And finally, the original concept and title… thanks MJ!

I like this one, a lot.

Great harmonies, great memories… today’s play tunnels are woefully lacking in duct tape.

Incredible, not just my new found celebrity, or the fact that you commandeered my word, great song man. I can’t wait to share this with my Dad and Brother, this will really take us back. Thank you very much for sharing.

This reminds me of a book you and Tony loved as children, Me and My Flying Machine by Mercer Mayer. Fun.

I really think you are doing a great service to our youth with a program that is both inspiring and healthy for them. I will say that I liked the beat and tempo of the music but….these old ears of mine are not picking up the words. I’ll listen again after I get my ears checked…OK Love you Todd…Love Grandma G.
